We produce a standard line model of fire apparatus designed to meet the needs of every fire station in the country. We build our apparatus to exacting standards, and equip each Fouts Fire unit with only the highest quality equipment brands on the market.

Our unique recipe of solid base design plus scalable production allows us to create efficiencies in our design and production processes, driving huge cost savings and delivery expediency to our customers nationwide.

Fouts Fire customers receive their apparatus faster than any other fire apparatus manufacturer can deliver: a typical custom purchase order to delivery lead time is 4-6 months from start to finish, and we almost always have stock units ready to deliver to the right customer in a matter of just days.

A Family Business For Over 70 Years

In 1952, C.J. Fouts and his brother Jerry started their first business in Smyrna, GA: Fouts Bros Sinclair Service Station. This was the beginning of a 41-year partnership. C.J. and Jerry remained business partners until Jerry’s passing in 1995. Today, Fouts remains family owned and operated, with second and third generation family members in charge of the day-to-day management of the company.

Fouts owners, management and staff realized in our early years that there was a growing need to standardize a 3000 gallon commercial tanker. Designed in cooperation with our valued partners (W.S. Darley, UPF Poly-Tank, and Kenworth), Fouts Bros created the best value fire apparatus in the industry–our flagship 3000 Gallon Tanker–and made it scalable to meet department needs, customizable to exceed their highest expectations.

When Fouts Fire opened in 1990, we specialized in small custom apparatus and used tankers. Over the years, we’ve built a national reputation as a premier apparatus provider of fire apparatus that’s both excellent and affordable.

Following the success of the tanker line, Fouts then incorporated the same production and engineering methods to develop new standard products, including 2000 and 4000 Gallon Tankers, Commercial Pumpers and the FB-94 Pumper, and the Fouts FOUR.
